Party People is brain child of the well known DJKenzhero that has been a big industry shaker in terms of social interaction in South Africa, since 2006. Each last Saturday of every month is when Party People happens, every one of them featuring an either well known or soon to be well known artist, international artist alike. Party People’s formula is very simple, the event always has a headliner in a form of a live band or artists who is supported by DJKenzhero as the for the night with feat from other well know dj’s. The events first took place a t now defected Roka in Mill Park. The event drew audiences from in and around Johannesburg, since 2006 July. Starting with a mere 80 people to an average of 400 to 1500 every month depending on the featured artist. As time went on audiences all over the country started demanding the event.
Past Features
Through out, the event has drawn a lot of attention from media and audience alike. This is attributed to the uniqueness of the event and the style of presentation to most importantly the act featured. Party People has never discriminated on unknown acts such as FIFI, Big Idea ( Durban ), Bhubesii. The event also feat house hold names such as Simphiwe Dana. Tumi and the Volume, Thastndiswa Mazwai, Mxo, 340ml, Zaki Ibrahim, HHP, Prokid, ProVreb, Kwani Experience, Zubz, Lebo Mashile, to name a few. Internationally features such as Bahamadia, J-live, Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Kev Brown all acts that were well received and events well attended.
Expanding the Brand (outside JHB )
From humble beginning at Roka Party People Branched out in 2008 Jan and embarked on establishing itself in the mother city Cape Town. The chosen venue was and still is Zula on Long street. There was also e necessary move to Pretoria on March 2008. Party People has since been an event to be recon with since its inception with a life span that has been in existence for 5 years in Johannesburg, 3 years in Cape Town and sporadic events in cities such as Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth and even reached outside the border as far as Mozambique in 2008. Party People has had a presents inside the festival Oppikoppi with its own stage and line up for 5 years, officially as Party People in 2008 and 2009.

Since inception PARTY people through Matchboxology, a specialised advertising company in JHB maintained association with respectable brands and media support, this endeavour has seen Party People survive for the Past 5 years in JHB .
